Archival institutions, given the unique nature of their holdings, generally have a specific cultural and administrative connection to history.
But beginning in the 1970s, archivists at the Bentley Library changed that. Join us to hear former Bentley Director Fran Blouin reveal how the Bentley forged connections with colleagues in China, France, Russia, South Africa, the Vatican, and many more countries to share and learn from each other. These conversations helped build a global reputation for the Bentley and helped develop the global mission of the UM.
